Tico is a 5 year old MaltiPoo who was surrendered back to us recently. The owner was finding that he was having trouble with her 11 year old son during shared custody time. The owner told me that Tico is not good with men. He's spent the week here with us at the rescue, and I can tell you that he is extremely affectionate and loving. He is fine around other dogs, and on his ride here from the airport he rested easily in a man's arms. While we see improvement in his acceptance of strangers, he does need a home with no children.
He is an adorable dog. I feel that his ideal home will be quieter...... and I think he could be fine with the right man. But meeting up will give us the ultimate answer! So let us know if you are interested in this lad.
