Take a moment to say hello to Zara. It was so obvious when she arrived in rescue that she'd had a very complicated past. In a nutshell, she was initially very afraid of people, and hyper activity around her would stress her out. With time, patience and a lot of love, Zara has begun to turn around. Zara has shown NO aggression toward any human or animal. She is wonderful with all of the other dogs, although she will go back to her kennel if they are being too rambunctious. Slowly she has learned that people are okay, and she solicits petting and back scratches. She's a quiet soul who prefers to spend time in her safe spot. Zara is SO deserving of a loving home that will continue to shape her re-entry to life as we know it. She is starting to walk on a leash, but I suspect she would prefer a home with a yard.
