Ellie came to us from the Porterville, CA shelter. Her situation is a bit unique. This type of dog is generally used to protect flocks, and she would be excellent at that job. Right now she lives with other dogs at the rescue without any issue. She does need structured introductions to people. Once she is acquainted she will be fine. For this reason, I would not recommend her to a family with lots of people coming and going. I think her ideal home would be an indoor/outdoor home where she could protect the property and also enjoy the fine life of sitting by the fire at night. :-). We all love her!
